Regional team selection
Invite letter for regional team members
The closing date for entries, to accept your place on the team, is noon on 3rd May 2024. Any competitor not entered by this deadline will forfeit their place and the next eligible individual will be offered the space. Entries must be made by the competitor or their parents/carers here.
Regional team kit can be ordered here. Team kit remains the same as previous years with the exception of the t-shirt which may change. Kit from previous years may be worn. Kit must be ordered by the end of the first squad training session to ensure delivery in time for the competition.

Orientation schedule (FRI/SAT Training) – Please note the allocation of groups based on clubs for Friday TRA training.
Please note that gymnasts must meet coaches through the gymnasts entrance on orientation evenings, and competition days. Parents must enter the venue via the spectator entrance.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us, or see coaches on the 3rd September at our next training session.

The kit this year is the same as the 2022 kit, so no need for gymnasts to rebuy if they were on the squad last year.

Regional Squad Training Details – update 24th July 2023
We look forward to meeting our gymnasts this coming Sunday for their first squad training session Velocity Trampolining & Gymnastics.
Training Session 1 – Sunday 30th July:
Group 1 (9-10.30am) TRA L1 & 2, DMT L3, 4 & FIG
Group 2 (10.30-12pm) TRA L3, 4 & FIG, DMT L1 & 2
All qualifying gymnasts are expected to attend both squad sessions if possible, with one being mandatory to remain part of the team. Any absences due to holidays/Injuries/ Illness need to be sent via email to Secretary@nettc.org.uk.

This year we are trialling the addition of FIG level participants at regional squad. If you would like to apply for a place please follow the instructions here no later than Sunday 25th June.

Congratulations to everyone who has qualified to be part of the 2022 regional team. Please see info here.
2020
Following British Gymnastics’ announcement to cancel all national competitions until the end of June the NDP finals will not run as planned. All of the regional squad training sessions will be cancelled. Unless there is an announcement from British Gymnastics along the lines of rescheduling the competition we will refund all entry fees and kit order payments, back through PayPal, on Friday 27th March.
In recognition of the performers’ achievements to represent the North of England they will still be entitled to purchase team kit if they so wish. If you wish to keep your order of regional team kit in place please email squad@nettc.org.uk no later than Thursday 26th March. If you do not email we will assume you would like to cancel your order and will receive a full refund.

First Squad Training Session
Sunday 17th March 2019 – Velocity, Billingham. The times are as follows:
Group A – 16:00-17:30
Trampoline – AAA, Aeronauts, Apollo, Carlisle, North Star and Trampoline Life.
DMT – Velocity.
Group B – 17:00-18:30
Trampoline – Belle Vue, Park Elite, Velocity and Wansbeck.
DMT – AAA, Carlisle and Trampoline Life.
Second Squad Training Session
Sunday19th May 2019 – Velocity, Billingham. The times are as follows:

First Squad Training Session
Sunday 18th March 2018 – Velocity, Billingham
Trampoline competitors from Carlisle, Velocity and Wansbeck – 10-12 on tramp followed by 30 min conditioning (until 12:30).
All DMT competitors on DMT. All other clubs (Apollo, Belle Vue, Dizzie Heights, High Voltage, North Star, Park Elite and Trampoline Life) on trampoline – 1-3 on tramp/DMT plus 30 min conditioning (until 3:30)
The morning trampolinists who are also doing DMT will not do the 12-12:30 conditioning session as they will be too tired for the afternoon conditioning session and can just do the conditioning 3-3:30.
Squad coaches will remain the same as last year until a new application process has been completed following the AGM.

Second Squad Training Session
Sunday 20th May 2018 – Velocity, Billingham. The Times are as follows:
Group A – 13:00-15:00 (Trampoline only) followed by 30 min conditioning (until 15:30).
Carlisle, Velocity and Wansbeck on Trampoline
Group B – 14:30-16:30 (Trampoline/DMT) followed by 30 min conditioning (until 17:00)
All DMT competitors on DMT
Apollo, Belle Vue, Dizzie Heights, High Voltage, North Star, Park Elite and Trampoline Life on Trampoline
The trampolinists in Group A who are also doing DMT will not do the 15:00-15:30 conditioning and will do the 16:30-17:00 conditioning session after DMT.

Group A – 10:00-12:00 (Trampoline only) followed by 30 min conditioning (until 12:30).
